Your guide will introduce you to the winery, explain how the wine is produced, and guide you through the tasting so you can learn more about the different flavors and styles in a relaxed setting.
No. Because the tour includes wine tasting, participants must be at least 20 years old, which is the legal drinking age in Japan. Non-alcoholic drinks are available, but guests under 20 cannot participate in the wine tasting.
The tour includes a guided visit to the vineyard and wine-making facilities, followed by a tasting of four different wines. You’ll also enjoy a five-course Western-style lunch featuring soup, salad, a main dish, dessert, and coffee or tea. The wine tasting is all-you-can-drink during the tasting portion of the experience.
We can accommodate some dietary restrictions with advance notice. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking so the restaurant can make suitable arrangements where possible. Additional drinks ordered during lunch are not included in the tour price.
The tour runs rain or shine. The winery visit and wine tasting take place indoors, but part of the experience includes visiting the vineyard, so we recommend bringing an umbrella or rain jacket and wearing comfortable shoes. In the case of severe weather, we’ll contact you in advance if there are any changes to the tour.
