To begin, the host will demonstrate a Japanese calligraphy performance and help you envision your ideal representation of the kanji character “ICHI” (meaning “one”). Next, you will grind an ink stick on an inkstone to create liquid ink. You will then practice writing “ICHI” on practice papers and strive to create your own masterpiece.
You can select a frame for your “ICHI” artwork and decorate it to your liking.
